Once, about half a year ago, I posted my sad experience with this company in Chongqing's GAC center and how I lost some money traveling to this place and renting a home suggested by the employer. So, after submitting my pro resignation letter with a month notice and after having it signed by the center manager, all should know that I was threatened to have my last month's salary cut. Only after I threaten back with a lawsuit the company's General Manager at Jian Bei decided to pay me my full last month's salary. Note that this General Manger made me sign a statement that I would never "disrepute" the company in order to get my last month's salary in full. Then, on my last day of work there, I recieved a highly negative Letter (Foreign Experts Termination) with which my mainland job search has been more difficult.

Now, I can't stop thinking how, over a year ago, i got lured into this job position in Chongqing and how the young crying female manager tried her best to convince me stay on, after i packed and wanted to run two days into my work (before agreements signed). I can't stop thinking how others could get burnt in similar ways as I have with this employer, or shall i say management, that will not allow you to speak with the owner. I can't stop thinking how poorly the local Foreign Experts Office reacted on my formal complaint about this employer and how the very same office could reply in similar ways to others.

What were my reasons for breaking my conrtact and suffer some financial and professional losses? Here are some;
1) GAC Chongqing, that's run by OWENS, singed some students with poor English language skills to go abroad after a 9 months program
2) GAC Chongqing directed me to carry out multiple retake exams to the poor students so that they could possibly pass, even though such practices are against regulations of the parent company (GACs are subscribers)
3) The center's office was a mess and a difficult place to work in as they lacked supplementary material and paper to print or copy (i had to fight for).
4) The center's manager, the local young (crying) female, demonstrated poor management skills which affected my work directly and then she could not get my students to come on time to our classes.

On the end, the company lied about my performance in an attempt to stop me from working further on mainland and that is something all should now pay attention to, because the mainland regulations call for a recommendation letters when fts decide to change local employers.
