I never said I was great or that this center is perfect. I have experience in China since the late 70s and i am here not because I can not find employment in The US. I was doing very well there and I have taken a major cut in income to be here. Your attack is groundless but that is OK because you do not know me or the situation here. I have hired teachers that have gone through hell at other schools but I have also seen many teachers that cause their own problems. Believe me , it is very difficult at times to be the buffer between the Chinese management, the government, and the foreign staff. personally I am getting tired of it. I feel we have the best foreign staff or any school in Chongqing but I still see a lot of teachers lacking any sort of work ethic. I try to tell new teachers that this is a job...just like back home. If you do well you are treated well, if not then there are consequences. It is the same for me. I am the Director of Foreign Staff and I am also the Foreign Director for Customer Service. Big deal! My job is just to put out fires and the original poster in this thread never took the opportunity to allow me to help work things out. I actually wish I had come to this school as a teacher and not in the role I have now as this has been a very good place for the majority of teachers. I am actually considering moving on and finding a position with less stress. The only reason I commented on this matter is that what has been reported is very one sided and not completely true...otherwise I do not give a rats ass.
