Actually the GAC center was a very small part of the school here. Most of the teachers here..yes there are 60 despite of what another person claims....do not even know we had such a place. My comments to begin with were about comments made against me when I tried to help the original poster. He has made comments on my management and teaching abilities when he has no idea what he is talking about.He actually replaced a person who was working at the GAC center who returned to the states because of her age. Maybe I am wrong but she seemed happy there.I feel that there is a conflict many times at schools between business and education. It was the same 30 years ago when I taught in Taiwan. It is the same in the Universities where many students show up once for class and pass with a 60%. I feel the best we can do is to help those students who are willing to learn. I think that is what keeps us going.
