Re "Non-profit" vs. non-profit

I find this very interesting because I took the TEFL International course in December of 2009 in Ban Phe. I did not know Bruce well since he was only in and out. I did know Sean, though. Sean had something to do with volunteer positions and he spoke very highly of Bruce.

Dave Hopkins is like a well of knowledge in teaching. He has forgotten more than most of us will ever know about it. He's demanding and even a bit cranky but he really knows his stuff. In fact I chose to take the course in Ban Phe because of him and I finished the course as a "competent and confident" teacher. I liked it. I liked it a lot. I LOVED it. Inside joke for any other TEFL grads out there!

Maybe more interesting in this thread is that there were two of my classmates who were taking the course gratis. These two ladies were teachers at an orphanage in Laos and had been given the course for free simply to help them be better teachers for these orphans. I think someone owes someone else an apology. In fact, you really owe us all an apology.
