But for a younger teacher, I am SURE you can AGREE the salaries and packages in the mid east are better than in China.
Case in point, I have a mate now working in Kabul. He can easily afford a holiday in thailand every year. In china on a FT salary it's a total no go. Likewise HK and Taiwan as you mentioned.
