Apparently, Tianshuo has built its notoriety over these years. Another story of a Filipino teacher here: Throughout the year, Maggie only gave him less than 500 yuan a month because he was not given enough classes, or sometimes he only got 200 yuan. My friend attempted to get back his passport but was refused by Maggie. He tried seeking help from the Embassy in Beijing, but Tianshuo discovered that. Then the working visa was canceled without the consent of the FT. A staff called Sophie sent him a SMS saying that "We'll make your life miserable!" A few days later, his apartment was broken into by someone and he was robbed all his belongings. Luckily, he is now back home after all the dramas.

I am wondering how one can check if the passport was used by the company to illegally import cars (if such a claim is true)?

Do you think any NGOs out there in your country or journalists would be interested in reporting the plights facing FTs in Jilin province or even China? I do realize the FTs in China are in a powerless position to report corruption of their recruiters, but for those ex-FTs who already went back home they could perhaps raise their voices through some wider platforms. I am planning to talk to China Labor Bulletin in Hong Kong, an organization keen on exposing labor exploitations in China. I'm sure they will be interested in the numerous cases involving Tianshuo and publicize their notoriety via other media.

I saw Maggie's pics on Facebook via some FTs who circumvented the internet censorship in China. Judging from her outlook, one can't imagine how evil and corrupt this woman is....
