@ Turnoi: Indeed. Especially as China pursues an increasingly expansionist policy to their neighbours in the east and south. There are a lot of similarities to the former USSR, and as you rightly say, we all know what happened there:)

In the future, there could well be a core China of the north, east and south, with Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, becoming independent states. Tibet is also a particularly thorny issue.
