There's only one place for bondage, and it ain't a school! Illegal as regards employment in China, anyway. Give that school the swerve!

Suggest you move on. Looks like this school has had problems in the pass, if the school was any good it would not need to ask for a bond.

Hi there,

I've been offered a job and received the contract.

One of the points in the contract is that the school will withhold 1000 RMB of my pay each month as a "bond" for the first 6 months. This means that if I were to terminate early, I would not be payed the bond back.

Is this something I should be worried about?
