This message was NOT "posted" by Jim but by Marc Slayton, FORMER Director of Studies, New Standard Training Center, Liuzhou, Guangxi, China.... How do I know? Marc Slayton HIRED me as a teacher! Then when he attempted to sell the owners "a complete school in a box" program and they refused to buy he quit (After 1 week - 10 days employment). I was hired as the Director of Studies in January 2010 and arrived in Liuzhou in April 2010. I have had a visa arranged by the school continuously. They are licensed and have complete authority to hire a foreign teacher! Heck... I even teach at the #9 Foreign Language High School in the City of Liuzhou... if they where illegal as Mr. Slayton states would I be able to teach (as a paid after class program held withing the school) at their school? They never miss a pay date and I am paid almost 5 times what a local Chinese high school teacher is paid PLUS a beautiful apartment for my non-teaching wife and I.... AND I am 66 years old!

This school has no license to operate. Thet claim to be able to get you a visa, yes they can. If you are not a teacher. They have no authority to hire foreign teachers as a school. They are desperately trying to buy a defunct school for its operating license. AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT TO STAY MORE THAN 1 YEAR.
