People in Jiangsu have a very elitist mentality, even more so than most of the other parts of China. While Changzhou is very developed and even up to Western Standards of living the friendliness there is probably in the negatives. Don't work there unless you are ready to deal with snobbish people who just find excuses to look down on you no matter what.
