"Yes, I agree completely, the Chinese treat Filipino colleagues very often as second-rate ESL teachers, and sometimes they are outright racist.
It has got nothing to with the qualification of Filipino teachers (mostly even with an advanced degree from a relevant subject area for teaching ESL); it is just business considerations as employers think a white monkey face would sell much better. Now, if they cared to look at my face, green, flat head, with sharp white teeth ready to give them a big bite, they would be very much afraid and would very much like to look at a Filipino teacher's face instead--it's the face of a nasty crocodile, and they do deserve it. Otherwise, in other situations, I have a normal Western face having played my role as a white monkey in a muppet show in China...LOL

Do you know what? - In China, it is not about you as a Filipino teacher, not about your qualification (and for sure, you are better than them anyway!) , nor about real education - it is always about ignorance, the highest level of stupidity, filthy money's sake and performance in a show alone. Keep your head high and keep your pride - they simply do not deserve you as a decent teacher whenever they discriminate on racial grounds alone.

Thanks Turnoi... Hahaha you are right. Chinese dont give much credit to filipinos and u bet I had never encountered such [edited], IGNORANT, RUDE PEOPLE IN MY WHOLE LIFE. I had lots of colleagues from different countries but they know what is ethical and unethical, and know how to treat people in the right way. Well I know even some chinese look down to "white people"(as they love to call it) that they are just but nothing in their own country (no decent job or those unemployed) who just simply come her to look for a job ,even some were not really qualified ..just the FACE VALUE and u are white, then you're IN....its a big shame to the world that they felt they are superior to others but hey we are the living creature who makes these chinese be more competitive and help them out to be more CIVILIZED,dont u think so ??
