Re: EF Changchun

I told them to get lost because as they know I do not do white monkey entertaining.

Aren't all us unqualified unreal teachers white monkeys in China?!

Window dressing...China is no longer a good place to work, inflation, dumbed down salaries and a big dose of xenophobia...far better places to earn more quid, why even bovva?

Wowsa,

: Owners of schools like EF expect ( and require ) teachers to work on weekends. That is crap.
: For your information Owen I know that many training centres in Changchun make teachers do

: environment conducive to learning don't you think?

Duh. Of course they require people to work on the weekend. That's standard around the world. They can hardly run courses when their clients are in school or at work.

I've never seen an English corner in KFC or McDonalds in Changchun.

Time for another beer Silverboy.

Here we see the quality of EF Changchun, they find themselves being thrashed in April 2011, so decide to go time-travelling back to a 2009 post which Silverboy wrote- either that or they've been on that monkey sofa ale again.

Yep, these rubbish centres do work weekends and would go ploughing on until the birds start tweeting given the chance- they never mind that the poor students are too tired to take much in, it's all money money money. I will have a free three days off this next week because they're having sports meetings at my university. They have asked me if I want to do the egg and spoon race or something- I told them to get lost because as they know I do not do white monkey entertaining. They might label me as a white monkey but I'll not be lily-livered enough to behave like one.
