Now they are stealing my wages for trying to take one sick day! One month of work down the drain. I didn't even take the sick day in the end went to work because one of the Agents Stacey said that if I went they 'might' pay me but she had to speak to the boss. I went in on good faith which was a big mistake, they have cut me off now and will not reply to any emails or answer my phone calls. They are Evil!!

Here is a friendly warning about teaching for Enlighten English based on my experience with the company,
1)Changed contract a week before I left my home country, well after I had paid for tickets, got visas, quit current jobs etc.
2)Told me the contract had the same conditions just different hours, which was a lie, no accommodation allowance, no visa, (they will try to get you to work illegally at your risk), no health insurance, less money, class sizes well over forty and no paid office hours even though I was supposed to construct an 3 research papers with no materials provided except the advice to teach them about public holidays, which is hard to get a whole semester out of. They all seemed to have learnt this already any way.
3) No support for teachers, other companies will take you out for dinner, provide training, give travel allowances, (they helped me find an apartment but it is an hour and a half from my school, very helpful!). They gave me the book for my course without the CD or the teacher aids that are supposed to be part of the package.
