Great... first we're bitching about universities and their FAO's... now we're insulting the FT's for coming here...
I just love fair- and open-minded discussion.
I'm curious though, SMB, just what exactly have you read about 'that Shuai character'???
(again, I'm not going to go even close to defending him, I'm just asking a question... I had a lecturer years ago, who would always say "Where's your evidence?" - not cos you're wrong, not cos you're right, but just to see how you reach a conclusion)
Chinese always do sneaky tricks like that Shuai character. I read enough about him to know I would never work there. I would also NEVER work in Jiujiang/Nanchang, in fact, avoid the whole province like the plague.
If you are stupid enough to work there you may get sick from a rat bite, some horrible kind of flu, or hepatitis...there are far better developed places in China to work than that place...NEVER EVER go to teach there, AVOID! AVOID!
