Too many foreigners in China are like her in that they'll blame fellow FT's too readily rather than the actual source of the lies, the deceitful Chinese employer. That said, the law in relation to visas here in China is an ass, and deserves to be circumvented. It can be done without any repercussions if you work for a public employer - they have maximum clout in that regard.
