I walk into Hawaii Palms English School last week and they completely ignore me. Maybe because I not Japanese? I thought I was in wrong place. No English, only Japanese. I wait ten minutes then left.

I agree! I return to Hawaii many times year. Tried Hawaii Palms and only spoke Japanese!!!!! Owner of school not care about students, only money. I suggest to look around Hawaii for other school, like EF, IIE, Global Village, and ELS Language. They are professional school who actually teach English.
Hawaii Palms English School is a joke! AND a waste of my money! The teachers are not certified and the staff is totally unprofessional. I learned absolutely nothing in my class. If and when they have activities, they are the same thing over and over again. There is so much Japanese spoken in the school, it doesn't even seem like an English school at all. They call themselves 'the ohana (or family) school' but that's only if you're Japanese and because they are so small. Don't waste your time or money!
