Yes. As someone who almost died of kidney failure, simply because Ms. Park at Ahil English School in Ulsan pocketed my Medical Insurance deductions instead of remitting to the insurance company, I too am curious to know. What happened?
By the way, according to Korean Immigration Law, employers who hire foreign employees are responsible for the health and safety of those employees. They have to get prompt medical care for sick or injured native English teachers.

The more I read about Seoul/South Korea, the more I want to avoid it. The food and booze is great, but I am not even sure I would want to go there as a tourist anymore.

I think I'll stick with China or other places, than that horrible place where you receive racist abuse.

Just out of curiosity what had happened to make you permanently disabled?
What kind of abuse had you suffered?

Korea: YBM-Sisa AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I ahve worked for several universities and English training schools in China and one in Seoul, South Korea. Although there were problems with a number of the Chinese schools, nothing prepared me for the total nightmare that was YBM-Sisa in Seoul.

It is uquivalent to white slavery, and as a result of their abuse and neglect, I am now permanently disabled.

DO NOT sign a contract with YBM-Sisa, I can guarantee that you will greatly regret doing so. Based on what I learned from my experience, I would urge teachers to avoid South Korea completely. It is a nightmare.
