Yes the Chinese are great at doing that. The Xin Jiang have a reputation around China and whilst there are thieves and lowlifes who are Xin Jiang I wager there are no more than any other Chinese. They are taught to believe this just in the same way they are taught to hate the Japanese. I listened in on some rather interesting conversations the day after the quake and tsunami...

And various other bigoted opinions. Most countries around the world are guilty of some atrocity and an embarrassing period in their history. Most of us have moved on. The Chinese specifically teach their children to hate the Japanese for crimes committed by people who are what now, 90 or more years old. Those that are younger and were around at that time were probably just kids and living under a strict regime which brainwashed them. Funny that. How one country which lives under a strict regime and are brainwashed hold a grudge against another country for crimes committed when living under an equally strict regime. I totally agree, I have met criminals all over china. If you're going to stereotype the Henanese you might as well stereotype everybody in china from every province, every district, and every place with a unique language! I guess ppl are just too lazy to remember so much!
