I am aware that I will most likely have to have another medical (I'm 99% sure I will), however, it's the fact that the person seems to be willing to bypass the law to get me into the country that worries me.

If you do a search of this forum, and 2 other popular foreign teacher forums, you will find many reports from newly arrived (in China) foreign teachers regarding medical reports obtained overseas.
The recurring theme is that the new teachers wasted their time and a couple of hundred dollars undergoing a thorough medical exam in their own country (including a chest x-ray, ECG, HIV and syphilis tests + more) only to find that they had to undergo a second, thorough medical exam at a Chinese government medical center (paid for by their school) when they arrived in China.
It seems to me that the recruiter is very familiar with Chinese bureaucracy and was trying to do you a favor.
Anyway, the best way to learn something is to experience it oneself, rather than be told by another person.
If you do eventually secure a job in China and if you do undertake a proper medical exam in your own country prior to going to China, please DO submit another report on this forum as to whether you had to undertake a second exam after arrival.

I think I had some dealings with this boy/girl and it wasn't pleasant.
When I refused to buy into the dodgy medical form idea, he/she got insulting and rude. At that point I stopped all communications.
Avoid dealing with this person, your life will be much easier!

Avoid 'Long Longen' at all costs, is my advice to you.
They seemed reasonable enough when I was interested in a job, however, it them came to the medical form required for a Z visa. They sent me the form, said I was to fill in the basic information and attach a photograph of myself. Then send it straight back to him. When I asked about actually seeing a doctor they said don't, send it directly back to him and he will handle it.
At this point I was becoming suspicious. When I politely declined his offer, the insults started flying.

Yes, You should have a one.
But I can tell you how to get it. it is not hard.
See the attachments. 2 for sample. 2 for empty forms(pdf and word). You can fill it up by yourself and then scan it to me. I will help you sign and stamp on it.
please use jpg to send to me and i will print it out and then stamp on it. and don't forge to place your head photo on the 1st page.
