Re: Suzhou Foreign Language School.

"What shall we bet? Dear Dr. Turnoi, what's your call here? "

My bet is that 95 % of the foreign teachers will have left by the end of the first term after their first start.
Who would really like to work with Mr. Pitbull, the aggressive, fat and ugly man?

Re: Suzhou Foreign Language School.

He (that is the person that is big enough to equal THREE normal size human beings in girth) is on the attack again. I just read a rather rant of a post from another site that a friend was kind enough to send me.

I am so glad that from my perch 10,000 kilometers away from that place I can sit down and sneer at the Big K. so nicely.

Dear Dr. Turnoi, according to the "Big K". in his latest rant on another site, everything is wonderful in this school. They have no hiring problems. They have no teacher retention problems. Every teacher that goes to that school stays there for years and years, at least for 3 - 4 lifetimes. Everything is so wonderful and so normal there. My, my, my, is this Alice-in-Wonderful (really K.-in-Wonderland) or what?

Apparently they have 29 new starts at the beginning of this year -- considering that they only hire 33 teachers, that is surely a lot of new starts. How many will leave at the end of the first term? How will many will just leave? How many will be screamed at? Ranted at? Have desks thrown at them? Have books thrown at them? That, Dr. Watson, as Sherlock Holmes said, is the question. To quote what another poster on another site wrote, and she was quoting Queen Victoria : "out of the gutter and into the sewer".

Let's take a bet. I personally say that 20 will leave at the end of the first term. What shall we bet? Dear Dr. Turnoi, what's your call here?

Many thanks.

C.W.

Re: Suzhou Foreign Language School.

Thanks very much for Turnoi and all for their support and understanding of how I suffered at this school. I cannot name the big, fat person who tortured me but I am sure that everyone can guess....

I am safe now, 10,000 miles away from them and from him.

They are urgently advertising all over the Internet because they cannot make their quota of bodies for September.

If you are even considering this school, don't do it. Jumping out of an airplane would be safer than working there.

And the big, fat one that lords over the place. Oh, My God, I have never seen anything or anyone like it. 450 pounds and growing!
