Last year I was hired to work at No. 8 middle school in Hefei and had the worst working experience of my life. The international department is managed by a company in Beijing called the SGE Foundation. Every email they sent me before arrival about the position was a lie. As soon as I arrived, they tried to change my salary and the entire year turned out to be a fight over money, before I eventually had to cut off all contact with them. They changed the number and types of classes I was supposed to teach, lied about having resources for me and tried to cut my salary twice. Multiple teachers were fired or quit on their own after arriving. The teachers who managed to stay the year agree that it is the worst working experience they have ever faced. If you choose to work with this company, you will face disrespect and rudeness on levels you have never before imagined. Do not trust the people from this company (SGE Foundation). These people might include Madam Su, David Hu, Michael Wang and Rose Tong. Although the money is not bad for a job of this type, I urge everyone to stay away. (And you might not get the money you think you will get in the end- as happened to the teacher who left and the teacher who was fired at our school).

I have found these details No 8 Senior High School Hefei on Facebook, the site began in 2008 by John Vinfal Lee (creator) of Lishui, Zhejiang. There are no detail on Facebook and seems to be covert?

Don't know about the No 8 High School.....but I can tell you that MCI is a very excellent school with a good reputation..I have had some dealings with them.

I am also trying to find out information about Hefei #8 High School and a connection with Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield, Maine. I will be going to Canada and the US from May 15 to July 1 and plan on visiting the Maine Central Institute. MCI appears to be a very legitimate American private high school.

Doe anyone know about the Number 8 High School in Hefei, China? They claim they have a partnership with a US-based high school. I have heard from several people that believe this is a total scam-O-rama involving ID theft. Please post here if you know anything about this school and their Chinese staff.
