Re: Kevin H., Raoul Duke and That Place

Thanks, Dr. Mrs. It looks like the really offending post has already been removed as "abusive". ;-{D

I think poor Kev is down to the many, many EFL sites that might get, like, 10 hits a year...

This is one of them, dear Raoul, I am going to go hunting for the others. He repeated the post in various forms on at least two-or-three boards.

He has not business putting up your real name and other details. When his real name appeared on this site several posts ago, those posts simply disappeared. In fact, on his "home" territory -- the greasy spoon as your boards refer to it --- we are not even allowed, permitted or tolerated to put up the slightest criticism of his school, nor of his most holy, august, saintly and irreproachable character. The posts on the greasy spoon are censored before they even appear by a moderator called "Writerman" whom I assume must be a "friend", "soulmate", "bedmate" whatever of the most holy, august, saintly and irreproachable character.

Kevin's aliases to date ; confused@siflis.com; kev7161; vocalrush; jakethefake; delmonico; and "pass me the valium" and at least 10 others, on this board alone.

Anyway, in your shoes, I would encourage the moderator on the other board to delete that post. It's against their rules.

Re: Kevin H., Raoul Duke and That Place

Thank you for the info. If you could point me to that article, I'd appreciate it.
He and I have some history. :-{)
"Raoul Duke" is NOT my real name, of course, but that doesn't make me a fraud. I have good reasons for not using my real identity, believe me...

I've held back from getting too ugly regarding our mutual "friend". Maybe it's time to change that policy.

Kevin H., Raoul Duke and That Place

Dear Raoul,

Since I am not a member of your board, which is a really good board, I just wanted to share the following with you.

Your "good friend" the 400-pound miracle of Suzhou put up a post about you on another site. In this post, he claims that you are a fraud, that your real name is not Raoul Duke but some very, very English-sounding waspy name, that you never met him, that he doesn't know you, that he never saw you, that you never saw him, that you know nothing about him, etc., etc.

All of that is not unusual, given the person-in-question. What is unusual, however, are the personal details. We are not permitted to "out" people on this board with very particular details, and yet if you go read that posting, on that board, you will find that Kevin H. has rather outed you, in his manner, which is to say that it is like being bitten by a piranha with rabies.

Thank you for your post in reply to my post. I stand by my information. There was a meeting and if one checks the Internet, one will see that every site which contained a criticism of the school and of Kevin has been spammed -- every site -- all of them by new, happy, wonderful teachers.

Mrs. Kevin Vander Helmsleigh, Ph.D.

No relation to the piranha.

Re: Suzhou Foreign Language School Propaganda Campaign

Dr. Mrs. H,

Excellent post.
Propaganda campaigns are nothing new for SIFLIS...they've been doing it for years. They are relentlessly unable and/or unwilling to fix the numerous and serious problems that plague their school, so they instead open a can of whitewash. They will suddenly burst forth from time to time, much like herpes sores, to try and distract people away from posts placed by their many detractors and convince a fresh crop of victims that it's a decent place to work.

It's not a decent place to work. Never has been, and probably never will be...at least not as long as the ownership and management structure (including the loathsome Kevin H.) remains in place. Except for the propaganda, I've never heard a legit, credible kindly word about the place from ANYONE who's been there for very long.

Suzhou is a nice city to be in. Don't spoil it by working for SIFLIS.

Regards,
Raoul

Re: Suzhou Foreign Language School Propaganda Campaign

Godspeed, lady. You are a good soul who has provided a crucial piece of information to all of us who are working tirelessly to close this "school" down. May the spammers have Karma bite them on the arse so bad they cannot sit on a toilet seat for a whole month!

See the thread above. Seems like another "name" we can add to the list, eh? Welcome back "C. Worthington", "StephanieB", et al!

Suzhou Foreign Language School Propaganda Campaign

I have heard on good source that the Suzhou Foreign Language School has had a formal mini-meeting, organized by Kevin H. himself, which involved various persons of the administration, and it was decided to officially counter all OF THE VERY TRUE BUT VERY HORRIBLE THINGS that have been written about this school by nearly 30 teachers on many boards.

It is a major SPAM effort on the part of Kevin and his SIFLIS school. Many of the persons writing on this board on behalf of the school are absolute newcomers to the school; several in particular have been in China for less than one month.

Nonetheless, the SIFLIS school has exerted great pressure on these absolute idiots to involve themselves in a writing campaign to clear Kevin's name, as if even bleach of the strongest sort could wipe away such a stench.

Therefore any unsuspecting person reading these post should be aware that they are pure spam, written under duress, written under express orders from the administration, and with the 400 pound Kevin pushing as much as he can push.

Best of all, however, were all the lies involving the telephone number, the lost passport, the false registration, etc,. etc., what a sordid tale that.

With all best wishes,

Mrs. Kevin Vander Helmsleigh, Ph.d.

No relation to the other Kevin
