When I told you my apartment was in shabby condition, you seemed to take my side in their poor treatment of a "guest". So should I, or should I not, follow their rules even in light of said matter?

Rules simply don't apply in a lot of cases, right or wrong, the line between morality (amorality?) becomes very blurred at times, does it not?
