Chinese English teachers are nothing but a joke, but some of them have the audacity to lecture us native speakers.

I'd say it'd be more accurate to describe them as Chinglish teachers! So, they are wary of the occasional student in their classes who has a natural ability for learning a foreign language, and is therefore in a position to pick holes in what has been 'taught'!
