Re: Ivor Galea English First Needs New Teachers ASAP For EF Moscow

I could rattle off half a dozen names of English schools from all over the globe I have worked for, however, the fact remains I chose EF English First in Moscow above all. The reason is simple, satisfaction. I've been with the corporate dept. for over 2 years now and I make 3 times I used to make back in Inverness. Need help in settling in Moscow, feel free to write back. M.Mc.

Well, Ivor Galea did not deposit any of the money as he had promised at the British Embassy. But EF are now using a variety of names to recruit for this company (CREF).
Its best to stay clear of them, and anyhow, as ole Duncan had said and had advised, most teachers leave very sharply, but do so after they are paid-good advice. Just take what they owe you then run, that's if you can get them to pay you that is.
Give EF Moscow a body swerve.

Dear British Embassy,

Legal team has been informed that Ivor Galea of English First Moscow will make deposit of my money today at the British Embassy. The Procurator (Moscow) has been informed of this, though its better to wait and see if it transpires, and why Galea chose the British Embassy is unknown to anyone.

3 legal actions have been raised with regards this company.

I look forward to your reply as to when you will forward the funds deposited to you by Ivor Galea

Ivor Galea contacted the legal team and confirmed that he will make payment, and will do so to the British Embassy. The Embassy's reply will be posted here tomorrow for all to view. The school is a really bad school, and people are just commodities. So, after I hear from the British Embassy tomorrow, you will view their reply as regards Galeas offer. Meanwhile, I have to get my pants off they are howling, as they haven't seen a washing machine since the day they left the factory, and the Police in New South Wales are on the look out, so must be careful. With regards my jeans, friends came to my rescue with a chisel and a toffee hammer (the Russian albino with a cockney accent). The British Embassies reply goes live tomorrow, so we will see if Galea was lying or not, and all documents are being posted live too for public viewing as proof. Sorry, but I must go, my jeans are running out the door by themselves. 60,000 rubles a month, you would think the Australian would be able to buy some washing powder?

If you wanna come to this company you will hear about all the bad wheeling and dealing from the others from day one. Theres lots of insecurity, so the knives are constantly out and in each others backs, Galea has his favorites as well as his spies. If you like this, if you are up for it, the English First Moscow is for you, the place where money will always come clean out the other end. Drugs and alcohol are no problem whatsoever, so if you are interested, then maybe you would also be into into a nice "chisel" and "toffee" hammer evening where Svetlana and Alina like to get down to the psychological dramas of the back room laundry stuff with all new teachers of EF.

Yes, they are at it again, and claiming that EF is a forward thinking company.

Heres the link: http://www.ef.com.tw/master/about_ef/careers/BusinessEnglishTeachersRussia.asp

As you can see, it is being advertised out of Taiwan. Thats a bit funny, as I thought the job was in Moscow? Is there a place called Moscow in Taiwan?
Anyhow, it will be the same old lies. When will they ever learn that the company will not grow unless they start being honest and upfront instead of dealing in a Persian Bizarre style type manner? And robbing people of salary, refusing to hand over salary that is owed, this isn't doing them any good whatsoever. Their clients have dropped them like a hot potato because of their very attitude and quality of service.

Think very carefully, because if you come, they will walk all over you, and they do have a very high turn over of staff. The atmosphere is very heavy as well as being unfriendly.

If you are coming to Russia, check with your Embassy first, ask about reports concerning the institutions, ask about your rights to protection, if you do these things, it will save you a lot of bother in the future, as well as that of a lot of grief.

English First dont care, and they cant meet the promises they are making, and they fail on quality on several levels.
