As for the school, I would avoid it and take a public job. The area is no doubt beautiful, but teaching kids like that, in a only for profit environment, esp in the humid semi tropical summers, would prove draining and frustrating.

Zhaoqing is a nice place, if you have a relaxed public job imho.
