Just observe a few Chinese teacher classes,, even at university level, and you will see what I mean. If they were so "smart" ,as they seem to think they are, they would not resort to plagiarism of FT's work. This is common , and I have personal experience of this.
Wake up man, you are speaking rubbish here!
The point is this, Silverboy- the Chinese education system consider these English Language Chinese teachers as qualified teachers, so we must accept that as true. Now, on the other hand, would most Western FT's pass muster to teach English in British, Australian, Irish schools? No, most of us would be laughed at, including myself. Most of us have a pathetic grasp of English Grammar, not even knowing the difference between lay and lie. Most of us do not know the difference between an editor's bracket and parenthesis. Most of us believe a brace should only be used in the building industry, and has no place on the written page. Chinese teachers may as well teach grammar because us FT's cannot. Tell you what, Chinese teachers must be doing something right because even without the presence of FT's their students manage to acquire a lot more English than their counterparts in the English speaking West acquire French say-shi bu shi.
