He'll continue to receive this lesson of people pushing back until he finally gets it.

Indeed drags, he will just have to lump it. It rains, you get wet.

Apparently, this random semantic silly named "anthro" can't grasp the meaning of "backlash". He'll continue to receive this lesson of people pushing back until he finally gets it.

That's a country of over a billion people living across 600+ cities, that contains tens of thousands of schools and teachers which apparently you have detailed knowledge of.

Apparently. Or maybe we just like winding up gw lackeys, of which you are one.

Ok, i bow down to you and Silverboy's collective omnipotence on all matters China.

That's a country of over a billion people living across 600+ cities, that contains tens of thousands of schools and teachers which apparently you have detailed knowledge of.

Is it true that you two are the Chinese representatives of Father Christmas and the Easter Bunny and therefore capable of being in all these places at once?

Re: Shane English Kunming

No you are wrong.

It is far easier to earn and save working at a public job. Again, you display arrogance and ignorance. You are clearly not an old china hand.

Re: Shane English Kunming

No. Silverboy is stating an opinion.

I earn my money very easily thanks. I guess that makes two of us who don't know everything about China!

Re: Shane English Kunming

That schools that provide teachers with a syllabus to work from are rubbish where as those that don't are great - that's laughable!

No, this is not laughable, Silverboy is speaking the truth.

I will not be observed by pretty but snobby TA's who think they know it all about teaching, no desire to be in a fish bowl, I won't do demo classes for free, I won't follow some ridiculous textbook and teaching plan set by Chinese mafia bosses and their henchmen who actually know nothing about education at all, and I value my freedom to do as I please in class.

If you knew anything about China, a public school/university allows you just that. At my school, no curriculum and no textbook. Ergo, I can do as I please in the classroom....can you earn your money so easily? Thought not! Instead your money depends on "pleasing" arrogant business english students and spoiled kids...no thanks!!! If the DOS or TA doesn't like you, you are out!!! Forget that, didn't come to china to sweat and watch my back and worry....done enough of that in my prior years ta very much!!!

It's up to you though, in a bit, yeah!

Re: Shane English Kunming

You don't have textbooks at your "university" yet you feel you can go around calling other institutions "rubbish"!

What's your point? That schools that provide teachers with a syllabus to work from are rubbish where as those that don't are great - that's laughable! It also undermines San Migs point that working in such a place is an easier life.

Was this the "harsh" response that San Migs promised us or should i continue to hold my breath?
