Re: China: Wrong Visa Type Okay, updated

And that many Chinese employers who have invited foreigners to come here to teach will try to put them in the classroom BEFORE a contract has been signed. It all means that your Z is basically a 30 day visa that gives your employer that period of time to decide whether to offer you a contract and arrange your visa, or not. No contract will mean no Residence Permit. The system is UNFAIR! It DESERVES to be abused by foreigners. So, Z visa for me! Certainly not! I can avoid it, sorry, evade it!

In the private and training centre sector, I would agree.

But that has not been my own personal experiences of the public sector, nothing against you, maybe others have had differing experiences.

Readers should also be aware that teaching with a Z, but without a Residence Permit is illegal too.
