I would agree.

Many are like ex mcdonalds supervisors who have some ideological zeal that any laowai unfortunate enough to be under their command, must work hard.

The problem is, no matter how hard these GW yuppies try, they are not supervisors of a fast food outlet in the USA suburbs anymore, teaching english is a whole different ball game....but given how China has gone full on capitalist, perhaps these kind of GWś fit right in....lol.
