Re: Demo lessons

The problem is that in that special case they don't know what they are talking about nor is their own methodological teaching level up to the current state of arts as it should be. The Chinese teachers are just BA majors in that foreign language and in fact do not know how to teach!

They did not "fire" me because I couldn't "teach" (they never said that): I had only suggested an alternative approach to their teaching in pointing out that it may help students improve drastically.

In other words, they falsely took my suggestions as a critique of their own way of working, and I had "to pay the consequences".

I do not take it seriously as I have much better options; I had only been wasting my time and some of my money on them! They eventually might have a problem in explaining to the students (some of whom I had been in good contact with) why I am suddenly gone. They might tell them then some of their lies as usual!

So long as the people doing the assessing know what they are talking about, I wouldn't be angry or upset if a potential employer asked for an example of my classroom ability.
