I do not think Chinese students can evaluate a foreign teacher's level of proficiency whatsoever. Many female Chinese university students have good knowledge about many things, likes sex, money, fashion, hair, make-up, etc, but in regard to anything else, no, they are sadly lacking in intelligence.

I would agree, most are experts and have opinions on everything under the sun, including how an FT should teach, but most of them ride mopeds like they learned off the back of a cornflakes box, know nothing about dating or social interaction, and generally lack awareness and knowledge of the outside world....

An FT should be not be keel hauled by a mob of Chinese students, no way, not ever....
