I think there Is one piece of advice I'd give for new teachers/posters which you didn't take and that is to not get involved in disputes of a personal nature. They don't serve the greater good and they do nothing to enhance your reputation as a contributor to the board. However, too many first time posters are frequently drawn into such conflicts and then feel that they will ultimately be able to redeem themselves by having the last word.

I would agree with several of the points you made about the patterns of negative posting on this board but you must see that you come across as being rather hypocritical when you make comments about individuals of whom you have no explicit knowledge.
