Re: HUFS language institute in Dongducheonsi, Gyunggido

Again, I agree. But we both know that places like EF are not going anywhere, they make too much money, so I try to work within that system to do a little bit of good for the students I come in to contact with. Washing your hands of these places and letting it fester full of under-qualified fake teachers using it for a visa, the FT experience in China will never get better. It's a vicious cycle, I'm afraid.

My washing machine has a vicious cycle, all my clothes end up in tatters. My bike is also a bit aggressive too, it likes to sneak up behind other bikes and bite chunks out of their tyres. But I do have a circle of friends who are fortunate enough not to own bad-tempered washing machines or biting bikes.

That sounds a cop-out, I'll sit on that chair so a bad person cannot sit there. Or, I take my place in a school that I've just agreed with T is a money -making racket and at least the position I occupy cannot be taken up by a fake teacher. Really good logic that. If you feel that way about EF, wouldn't it be more honest to join forces with SM,T and others to try and advise FT's not to go there, than chomp away from the same money-making trough. I myself have no knowledge of EF.
