WOW I am impressed. Getting online facilities attached to your Chinese bank account is no mean fete, but it can be done.

You can't just throw two or three- liners on the site "Berkey School are thieving swindlers, they didn't pay me" and expect to get much support and gnashing of teeth. Give us a blow by blow account of who said wot to whom; otherwise, a perfectly good school could get an unjustified bad reputation on the basis of no reasonable corroboration, and we wouldn't want that, now,would we?

I am in the EXACT situation as you are. It is absolutely horrendous what they are doing. It is a scam they have been pulling off for quite some time, apparently. It would be nice to speak with you concerning this matter. I returned home to visit family and also am returning to China in need of my last months pay. Because I am no longer in China, they must figure they could simply get away with it!

I am also thinking about what to do. If possible, I would absolutely like to waltz into their office.
I don't believe that this sort of behavior ( especially as it concerns a great deal of money for me at least ) is something I am willing to simply shrug off.

Yeah...I worked for these people and they absolutely refused to pay me the last pay because they assumed i was our of the country by the time my pay date was due they figured they could get away with it. what should i do about this???
i am returning to china and need the pay they owe me.
any suggestions??

A lot depends of course on whereabouts you will be in China in relation to this Berkley place. If you can resolve the matter without involving the authorities all the better(could be a can of worms). Your post seems a tad contradictory, although you probably didn't mean it to be, and I'm left wondering where you are, at home or still in China. If the latter, I assume you mean, you are going to go home and subsequently then return to China?

If you can't get them to cough up by contacting them through e-mail or phoning them, I would suggest that if your current or future locality allows it, go and see them, face to face is a good thing to do.

If you are or going to remain miles and miles away from them, I'd just shrug my shoulders and say po cai xiao zai (lose money and get good luck) forget about it and use it as a learning curve somehow. Time and distance is money. Sometimes we have to let things go.
