Re: Beware Beijing Huijia Private School

That's all what it is about, and does that make me a whiner? If someone said it does, then I know exactly where such a claim comes from: It is not from English but Grovelling Weasel's Corner. And please note, I am dissecting certain mindsets here in my post; I do NOT mean to attack or blame anyone personally.

Thank you. No of course you cannot paint all with the same brush, and you are obviously not one of these disgruntled individuals who arrive in China and cannot hold down a job in even a decent school for more than a couple of months without complaining; although, it is worth saying that this decent school-bad school, is somewhat subjective. Might be better to say, decent job-bad job, because some seem to find they have good jobs in bad schools, and bad jobs in good schools; life is not neatly stacked, I am afraid. A bit like your calling I imagine; if for the sake of argument we agree that the Church Of England is a good employer, you could still end up with a bad job, they could send you to some squalid parish in Brixton; in which case you might post on some clerical forum, if there is one, that the Church of England is a terrible employer. Conversely they could send you to some quaint middle-class parish in Constable Country, in which case you may well be disposed to call that poor wretch in Brixton a moaning Vicar on the clerical forum. It could be that some of these private schools in China are essentially good employers with the odd rogue outpost?
