Re: General Comments: Pearson / Longman (ATTN: Interested Party)

Honestly, do you think that any of these court cases have an inpact on the teachers. I highly doubt it. For one most of these are against Pearson as a publisher and related to product development and design, including copyright issues of printed and digital materials, rather than teaching or teaching resources. I highly doubt that any of these issues will even make it down to the teaching centers and schools.

I do feel that the teaching load, hours, "out of class" expectations, and additional contractual issues could make the teacher tired and concerned but really doubt that any of these reasons would ever affect the teaching employees of either of these schools.

Attention INTERESTED PARTY....

Hi,

I've been very busy lately but I wanted to respond to your many PRO-WALL STREET postings as to why I think that Pearson Longman is not a good organization and as to why the Carlyle Group might have wanted to SELL their interests and avoid further exposure to risk and liability.

Wall Street and/or Pearson Longman looks like a great place to work if they could stay out of court long enough to just teach, but as they are usually being sued for COPYRIGHT ISSUES.....one must really wonder just how great their teaching materials are.

This work is making me tired. I need to take the BAR exam before I can proceed any further.

Let's just examine a few possible reasons....

Other than, and in addition to the fact that I happen to think that their educational materials are worthless.
