DOS at TC's are just losers and failures who came to China because they were marginalized and had no power back home.

Well, if you're marginalised and feel powerless in your own country, that's a jolly good reason to go and work in China. There are many FT's in China who just couldn't get it together in there own countries-it happens; I feel you are being a bit harsh and self-important to dismiss all of them as 'losers' with all the connected connotations, of a word seized on, often by those far removed from 'winners' themselves. Mind ,I'm not digging at you personally. I myself get a lost of satisfaction out of bumping into a body who has found an oasis in China, after an often troubled existence in their own countries- brings a smile to my face.
