Here is what the Lawyers in Muscat are saying with regards the guy bringing in people to work on Tourist Visas:

Our fees, as an international law firm, tend to price us out of doing work for individuals on employment matters, so we recommend that you speak to a local lawyer in Nizwa and see if they can help you for an agreed fixed fee.
The Ministry of Manpower oversee employment matters in Oman, but they are unlikely to be impressed if you have been working here on a tourist visa.

The complaint has now gone to the Foreign and Commonwealth office and Brighton and Sussex Police
Dont touch it. The guy is a liar and a crook. He is currently under investigation. He has had a whole string of teachers and businesses under different names, He is posting on here as John o Shei, Beelzebub and Don River Sewrage Worker in the hope to limit damage. I would leave it and not touch it. He has had no teacher in over a year. He says he has local expats that work for him, but we never see or hear from them. He accused an American teacher saying that he stole from him, but he never got the Police. Why? Because he didnt pay the teacher. The guy is a real con man and one that believes in his own lies. He has an old guy working for him now, one that has come under his spell, but this illusion will be shattered at some point when the real mask comes off. Dont touch it.
