Good for you that you have a great partner. I spent three years in between patners before I met a good hard working woman. But I followed my own advice in finding her. I have met too many foreigners who are reeled in by the first woman who pays any attention to them, and after the break there's hell to pay- pardon the expression. We are lucky, and for foreign men and woman in China who follow some diligence they can be lucky as well.

I have no partner, which was always some-body you shared a business with- plumbing- veterinary practice, whatever. NO, I have a wife, a Chinese one- she is already settled in UK- she could have walked out on me many moons ago because she has had her indefinite leave to remain for some time- i am some 40 years older than she and I don't have a pot to piss in or a genuine degree(but I do have some good fake ones)- She pays £700 into my account every month. There are many decent Chinese gals like her....but sadly, if you are a jaundice grumbler, you will not land that good catch, even though the waters be teeming with prime fishes.

No, I am not making this stuff up. I have heard many, many stories from ex-pats about women trying to get money and visas from them. It is good that your dates have not brought this stuff up, but as now married man has your wife brought up resettling in the West now? This does not only apply to Chinese women but people from many countries. Maybe your partner does not say those things, but has she thought about them?

I know a German girl who married a North African and brought him to live in Germany. Once the governement allowed him to stay legally in Germany, he was out the door immediately. She was my pen-pal for fifteen years and she told me the story herself; she is still an attactive woman. Let us not forget about Wendy Murdoch who divorced Rupert Murdoch not so long ago. Read about her early life and how an American couple sponsored her to study in California. She had an affair with the husband, the husband divorced and married her, and after she got her green card then divorced that man. And the rest is history: broken marriages, a green card, and now lots of money.

I think that really is a bit of good advice. An American guy I know also says that if a Chinese woman talks about buying an apartment or visas on a first date then that is a big red flag, sounds like obvious common sense I know. Whatever, that woman is to be ditched immediatley, a man obviously has no future with a woman like that.
You've said enough to convince me that you and your crowd are answering Chinese women on dating sites and QQ. i'm surprised that some of these women wait until a first actual date before bringing up such topics- usually after the first photos have been swapped online these women will find it appropriate to sound you out about where the both of you will lodge. None of the Chinese women I've dated have ever said such things-first date or the tenth; or, are you making these things up as you go along?
