We've all probably smoked weed and done other stuff before back home (well, maybe not) and maybe even dealed a little bit to our friends in our teens, but there's nothing that great about that, it is nothing to boast about. Whilst the effects of smoking weed can be positive for some people, it can have negative effects too. The laziness caused by it is not a great thing in my opinion, hence I choose not to smoke it.

I tend to find that obsessive smokers like you can be a bit of a bore. What is worse, you like many other foreigners are rather blasé about it, when there are people within the authorities that would love to arrest you and make an example of you.

You may argue that you are not violent and not causing trouble, but that probably makes you easy targets and sitting ducks. People have been arrested, imprisoned and deported. You don't tend to get a slap on the wrists for it in China, and Thailand being collectively rather pissed off as a nation at the damage that recreational drug use has done to its reputation, may do even worse to you.
