True, but the problem is when you start banging about oriental despotism, I take Orient to mean the east, does that mean all the east and everyone in it is a despot? Not trying to argue, but merely clarify and have some intellectual debate, good for the old brain cells of us older fellows.

Perhaps, Turkic despotism is a good one, but that could also be construed as racist perhaps?
