Wrong Brett. Bars, clubs , are where you find the sexiest, prettiest, best dressed Chinese women. They are usually more down to earth, and many of them are well-educated and from from upper class, high socio-economic backgrounds. I just don't like Chinese bars because they are extremely noisy and there is no dance floor ( most of them )
A GW Chinese college or university teacher is a very poor choice as a GF or wife for a foreign teacher. Colleagues should always be avoided as far as serious relationships are concerned. However , Chinese teachers are OK for one night stands.

There's a lot of truth in that. However, it depends which bar or club you go to. The flashy places seem to attract gold-diggers, the cheapest places seem to attract skanky girls and student places don't attract the over 30s.
