In Psychology, we call that kind of behavior Projection. Projection in this case would mean accusing others of shortcomings that you yourself possess. The Willyless one certainly has never been in a long term relationship with anyone. Nobody is that masochistic.

Interesting... I do notice that there are a lot of foreigners working in ESL in China, that behave in such a manner. Not just on forums like this, but in real life.

This could possibly be one of the sad results of people working for organisations that they don't truly care about. It is not just at shitty TCs but the not so famous universities as well. The average English teacher is never going to get promoted to a higher position unless they do some serious further study like Turnoi for example. Hence they start not to care about the organisation or the team, but only about themselves.

Selfishness kicks in and people start fighting only for themselves, to win at all costs, it brings out the very worst in human beings. It doesn't help that a lot of English teachers could be in a lot of trouble, should they lose their job in China due to the current global financial situation. Of course, if most of us lost our jobs and were truly desperate, we can at least bag a TC job within a matter of days, if not hours; but a lot of the foreign teachers aren't aware of that, they even relied on recruiters to get them here in the first place.
