I am a former employee if NYS and have actually worked with them for a little over 3 years.
I was very surprised to read this comment. 1, because Akin does not run the Istiklal school and 2, because throughout my
employment there he has been maybe THE most helpful person around, always doing what he promised to do...always returning calls, always answering queries.
Even after i stopped working for NYS, Akin helped with paperwork i needed and did so very promptly!
Never in all the time he was my coworker did he ever behave inappropriately. On the contrary, he was always polite and respectful and kind:-)

I think you are terribly wrong to make such accusations against Akin, as he is a great friend and a very good worker. He always tried hard to help all of the teachers and has ALYWAS been very respectful and nice to us. I think you are quite confused!

Ive worked at New York Studio for a long time now and I'm quite surprised to hear these allegations against Akin. He has been extremely helpful to all of the teachers and I have never heard anything like this from any of the female teachers nor have I ever witnessed him behaving in an inappropriate manner or making any inappropriate comments. It would seem extremely out of character for him to do anything remotely similar to the way that he was characterized in your post.
New York Studio and ELT, both have really bad reputations which can be verified by reading their reputations that others have written about. New York Studio ran by Akin in the Taxin part of Istanbul, please avoid it if you are especially female. He thinks by employing people (especially female) that their bodies belong to him and that he can use, abuse and sexually molest as he sees fit. Females not wanting this or not falling under his spell are quickly dismissed and thrown out of their apartments.
ELT, bad reputation, poor school, poor teaching, best avoided. It has nothing but a very bad reputation with regards the way it teaches and treats foreign teachers. Avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid.
