Simple is not the operative word, is it? Simple is what I am asking you to be. The plight of foreigners teaching basic English in China only demands simple argument. Basic and simple are fine bedfellows. I wouldn't be surprise if you start waffling on about Genghis Khan and the knock-on-effect which eventually led to the rise of Mao further on down the line.
