Hi, do not accept an offer of employment from this company. They are without a doubt the worst employers I have ever had. The students are a nightmare, they are simply terrible. They have no respect, manners, dedication, drive, ambition, nothing! They lie, they scheme, they plot and turn on every teacher that comes their way. Added to this, the management likes to place blame directly in the lap of the teacher. They are well aware of what the male and female students are like, but remember this society sees all non Arabs as infidels, and the infidel is always, no matter what WRONG! The administrative staff are little more than hapless idiots who seem to think that treating teachers like cattle is the done thing. The faculty consists of social misfits and alcoholics all eager on drinking as much booze and banging as many prostitutes as they can. If you are a brown nose kind of person then you will probably do rather well. If you are a pragmatist then you are really setting yourself up for a fall. You have to work Xmas, you only get 4 weeks holiday in the summer and everything you are promised in your contract you have to fight for tooth and nail, and I mean everything! Stay clear of ADVETI, Al Rowdha or IAT.

Dany, do not trust these slave traders from Adveti. They are terrible. You cannot even leave the country without their consent if you wanted to do a runner because they will take your passport away, and they have a legal rule that you cannot exit the country unless your employer agrees. These incompetent adveti clowns are known for cheat and deceit, not paying you properly and and on time and for the crap sub-standard accommodation they provide. They are notorious liars and promise you the world to get you in the door bur deliver nothing in the end. And there is no need to play the entertainer for lazy and spoilt brats from decadent rich Sheikh families who are not motivated to learn and who expect you to kiss their feet instead.

Hey I have been offered a job with adveti as an English teacher. Could you elaborate on your experience were you teaching kids or adults ?
I have heard they work you to the Max like most schools in mid east .
OK, let's be as frank and open as possible with this ESL organisation. Stay clear! If offered a teaching position think long and hard about whether you really want to come and work for a company where the teachers are treated as little more than servants. A company where the students lie, deceive and manipulate whenever they can to take revenge on a teacher. This company and this culture is in the stone age! You will not be happy here, that is unless you want nothing but stress, upset and lies! Everything you are told by the management is a lie and is geared to place full blame on the teacher.
