Re China-Asia Foreign Culture Exchange company

Recruiters;: You have nbo contract with them, they are asked by schools to fin foreign teachers for them and are paid by schools in case of successful recruitment. They will often tell you lies about salary, location etc, of the school to have you successfully recruited as otherwiese they don't get their fee from the school. Your contract is with the school.

Agents: You work directly for them and have a contract with them. They send you out to schools somewhere, and the schools pay the agent, not you. The agent is paying you each month wirh substantial amount deducted from your salary and pocketed by the agent. Benefits that schools pay may also end up in the agent's pockets like airfare reimbursement and other things, Very often, the agent does not pay you on time or in full although the school paid him in advance before you were sent there,

That's how it works in China, and both types of businesses operate on the basis of cheat and deception. Disgusting!

However, some agents provide you with a TA, also paid for by the agent, whereas many schools don't. And TAs can be of great assistance in the classroom!
