Re Professional teacher training and quality education

You say you want to put all of the insults aside and debate the standards of ESL teaching and then go right back on the offensive even though I agreed with you regarding minimum requirements for teaching and the need for a regulatory body.

You are unbelievable.

The information regarding the DELTA is there, you keep changing the parameters. First it's a 4 week course, ok it's longer, but it's not recognised, ok, it's recognised, but it's not the equivalent of a doctorate.

It's a qualification for language teaching. And it's a very good one.

Now, we can either talk like adults about the standards of ESL teaching and how regulations would make it a better field, or you can degenerate in to slinging insults again. The choice is yours.
