You say you want to put all of the insults aside and debate the standards of ESL teaching and then go right back on the offensive even though I agreed with you regarding minimum requirements for teaching and the need for a regulatory body.
You are unbelievable.
The information regarding the DELTA is there, you keep changing the parameters. First it's a 4 week course, ok it's longer, but it's not recognised, ok, it's recognised, but it's not the equivalent of a doctorate.
It's a qualification for language teaching. And it's a very good one.
Now, we can either talk like adults about the standards of ESL teaching and how regulations would make it a better field, or you can degenerate in to slinging insults again. The choice is yours.
