Re Narrow perception based on private ontology

According to this "definition", I must be an "extraodinary good" teacher
Not really, because that phrase requires the adverb 'extraordinarily' not the strong adjective 'extraordinary'. A good teacher wouldn't confuse the two... Let alone an extraordinarily good one! Nor would one need his students to bribe officials in order to pass his class... Which leads me nicely in to....

including those cheating during the exams and whom I decided to fail because of this but who were "pardoned" by the Department head or the Dean because the students concerned paid them a bribe and were passed with excellent marks....
Well, that sounds like a wonderfully stand up establishment! Funny how you lambasted private schools for only being concerned with money, something your wonderful state schools (university is the pinnacle of teaching, dontchaknow!) eschewed, but then say your dean accepts bribes in order to pass failing students! Not that I blame the students for failing when their 'teacher' doesn't know the meaning of the word 'lazy' and thinks being sexist means you are sexually attractive! But still, a little hypocritical, no?!

No, a "damn good teacher" is one who can inspire his/her students not only to learn and pass an exam well but to make good use of the knowledge and apply it in later life. You don't learn for exams but for life, exams are only there to evaluate learning achievements. Private language mills drill their clients for exams at best, but mostly they fail to even do that.
"Exams are there to evaluate learning achievements" so consistent high pass rates over a period of years from a teacher's classes would ergo be indicative of ongoing learning achievements!

As for the inspiring part, I know I've made a difference in the lives of many of my students, but we'll leave that one there before CT gets his panties in a twist about that equating to the spreading feminist agenda around China again!
